Ebert's satisfaction:

Gone in Sixty Seconds is the kind of movie that ends up playing on the TV set over the bar in a better movie.

Now, now. Let's not be too harsh. We happened to like this movie. Maybe you should head to a bar, grab a drink, and loosen up. How 'bout it?

Nicolas Cage's character walks onscreen with his character already established from The Rock and Con Air.

We agree. He always has the same expression and acting style…if you call that acting

The movie was filmed using weirdly underlit saturated dark colors

The movie was dark, yeah. That's because most of the main scenes took place at night. Duh!

The movie's really predictable

We knew Cage and crew would kick ass. But we still enjoyed watching them do it.

The chase sequence is fine.

The chase sequence is da bomb!!! Wassup, Ebert? 'Can't admit that you were turned on by those scenes?!
